History

  Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. was formed in October of 1985 for the purpose of supplying software solutions to the construction industry.  Gary Graham, the founder, was intimately acquainted with the needs of the user since he had been the office manager for a multi-million dollar site preparation construction firm for the previous 15 years.  While in this capacity he oversaw the installation, implementation, training, and use of their first computer system and the conversion and upgrade to 3 additional systems. 

  Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. has been a leading solution provider for Timberline Corporation since 1985, earning numerous awards, including being #1 in the nation for sales of Timberline estimating products for numerous years, winning the award for Most Satisfied Customers in 1992, and receiving the last Ethics Award that Timberline awarded.  Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. is a Timberline Certified Training Center.

  The guiding philosophy at Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. has always been to meet the needs of the end user.  This includes providing the appropriate software applications, hardware/network and database help, and the desired level of conversion, installation, implementation, training and continuing assistance.

Staff

      Sales:

  •  Gary Graham

         With an engineering educational background, Gary worked as Manager for a large site contractor for over 15 years,  

         overseeing the implementation and utilization of 3 different computer systems.  After working as a computer

         systems salesperson for someone else for 3 years, he started Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. in 1985 to 

         represent Timberline Corporation.

 

·    Douglas Lee

    Douglas’ construction background includes estimator (using Timberline Estimating), project manager, and

    superintendent.  He is a Building Science graduate from Auburn University.

  • Donna Lee

        Donna has quickly become an accomplished sales representative for Timberline’s Project Management and Accounting

        products, including Job Cost, Service Management, and Property Management.  In her former life she was a Georgia

        state auditor, and she holds a finance degree from Murray State.

  • Sue Cummings

   Sue has over twenty years of experience in job cost accounting for construction.

 

  • Michael Widner

   Michael provides business development services for all southeastern regions.

 

  • Diane Barker

   Diane provides business development services in the Mississippi and Arkansas areas.

 

Support:

  • Vivian Graham

         Vivian has been Timberline Certified in Accounting products for over 13 years. She has overseen the implementation  

        of Timberline in companies from $3 – over $400 million revenue in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Latvia. She declares

        this a more interesting job than the high school English teaching for which she received a degree from UAB.  She 

        specializes in solving reporting needs using Timberline Report Designer and Crystal Reports.     

  • Chris Renfro

        Chris was Director of Purchasing & IT for a large residential contractor before starting to support and train clients for

        Advanced Systems. He has specialized in data conversions from all types of platforms.  His accounting degree from

        Middle Tennessee State has been useful in his 5 years as a Timberline user and his 4 years of Timberline consulting.

 

·     Anna Fievet

     Anna handles support issues and provides accounting software training She is currently pursuing both her

    Timberline Certification and her second Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at

    Birmingham.     

  •  Mac Saxon

        Mac is Timberline Certified in Estimating and Buy Out.  He has worked in the construction industry “all my life”.  Mac’s

        father was a general contractor.  He was helping install wood flooring when he was 9 years old and sent home at 12

        years of age when caught working on a job.  After receiving a Building Science degree from Auburn, he worked as an

        estimator/project manager until he became a Timberline consultant and database expert 9 years ago.

 

·     Alida Dwyer

     Alida is a CPA and has been a Timberline Certified Consultant for over 12 years.  She teaches most of our Timberline Accounting Software classes, and has installed and supported hundreds of companies.

  •   Bill Kormoski

Bill is a CPA and has been a Timberline Certified Trainer for over 10 years.  He provides sales, implementation, and training in the Nashville area for Timberline Accounting and Service Management software.

 

·     Wes Hall

     Wes tests and installs network and hardware configurations for clients all over the Southeast.  He has a Computer Information Systems degree, and is well versed in multiple computer environments.

 

Office Staff:

·         Brenda Graham

Brenda is the client contact for billing and payment issues.

 

·      Sarah Widner

Sarah is the client contact for software orders, shipping, training classes and general communications.
