Timberline Accounting Timberline brings 30 years of experience with their construction accounting system as well, which is also designed to operate on the latest Microsoft operating systems. Timberline accounting is also backed by the powerful and reliable Pervasive-SQL database. Because it is module-based and is offered in both Standard and Extended Editions, Timberline Accounting Collection meets the needs of contractors large and small. Every accounting package offers basic General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll capabilities, but Timberline has mastered these and added the exceptional job cost and reporting capabilities that allow your business to flourish. Over 200 reports come “pre-packaged” with the system; the Report Designer module allows you to modify these or design entirely new ones to better suit your unique needs. The Job Cost module allows you to store all costs in detail and contrast with the estimate on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, YTD or JTD basis, allowing the project manager to quickly identify any problems almost before they start.
